Netflix is releasing official choreography videos for KPop Demon Hunters, starting with “How It’s Done,” while confirming a second film will have a theatrical release. The streaming giant has begun sharing complete dance routines for the movie’s most popular tracks through its Tudum platform and social media channels. This initiative allows fans to view formations and movements that were not fully visible in the original animated feature, where musical performances were interwoven with demon-slaying action.
The first video features characters Rumi, Mira, and Zoey performing the opening track’s routine. Netflix announced that additional videos for songs including “Golden,” “Takedown,” “Soda Pop,” and “Your Idol” will be published during the week of October 26. These materials highlight the work of professional choreographers such as Leejung Lee (THEBLACKLABEL), Nain (Jam Republic), and the South Korean team K-Tigers. Special episodes featuring these specialists explaining key poses and formations are also planned.
In parallel developments, Netflix and Sony Pictures Animation confirmed that a sequel is in production. Directors Maggie Kang and Chris Appelhans are expected to return for the next installment, which aims to continue the story of the fictional group HUNTR/X. Unlike the original 2025 streaming release, this new entry is slated for a worldwide cinema debut. However, studios have not yet announced a specific release date or detailed plot points. The original film’s soundtrack achieved significant commercial success, with the song “Golden” reaching number one on the Billboard Hot 100 for eight weeks, underscoring the franchise's global appeal.
