The "Universidad del Perreo" (UDP) is a creative concept that honors the history and global impact of reggaeton. It was presented in Wisin's hometown of Cayey, Puerto Rico, under the motto: "El ritmo es el currículum. La calle es el campus" . While some outlets describe it as a tribute to the genre's roots , others emphasize its educational framing, with courses like "Cátedras de ritmo aplicado," "Historia del reguetón," and "Epistemología del flow" mentioned on Instagram . The first cities confirmed for in-person classes include San Juan, Miami, Bogotá, and Mexico City .
