New York Mets shortstop Francisco Lindor has been named the winner of the 2026 Roberto Clemente Award, Major League Baseball's highest honor for off-field community service and philanthropy. Lindor and his wife, Katia, have supported Children's Miracle Network Hospitals, the SEEN Foundation, Special Olympics Florida, and Boys & Girls Clubs of America . He donated to hurricane relief in Puerto Rico after Hurricanes María and Fiona, restored sports facilities in his hometown of Caguas, and contributed over $1 million to build Lindor Hall at Montverde Academy in Florida .
