Kelly Osbourne has shared the emotional final conversation she had with her father, Ozzy Osbourne, just three days before his death on July 22, 2025, at age 76. In an interview on the podcast We Need to Talk, she revealed that Ozzy made her sit down and told her: "You can live the rest of your life knowing that there was a man on this planet who truly loved you. And that man is me."
According to Kelly, Ozzy acknowledged her lifelong struggle to trust that others genuinely care for her. "I know you find it hard to relate to people and believe they love you. But I love you more than anyone," he said. When she began to cry and asked him to stop talking that way, he replied: "You know I'm not going to be here forever." Three days later, the Black Sabbath frontman died of a heart attack, surrounded by family.
Ozzy's last public appearance was on July 5, 2025, at the Back to the Beginning concert in Birmingham, England, where he reunited with original Black Sabbath members Tony Iommi, Geezer Butler, and Bill Ward. Kelly credited her mother, Sharon Osbourne, with helping make that farewell show possible despite Ozzy's declining health.
Since her father's death, Kelly has spoken openly about her grief. In early September 2026, she revealed she had experienced significant weight loss, saying she looked like "the Crypt Keeper" and hadn't realized how much her appearance had changed while focused on her loss.
