The Plaza de Toros de La Malagueta in Málaga hosts its final bullfight of the 2026 season this Saturday, August 22, closing the Feria Taurina de Málaga. The event features Morante de la Puebla, Roca Rey, and David de Miranda facing bulls from Torrealta and Garcigrande, with more than 9,000 spectators expected. The corrida starts at 19:00 and will be broadcast live on Canal Sur and its digital platform Canal Sur Mas.
While Málaga dominates attention, other bullfights take place across Spain. Alejandro Talavante, Emilio de Justo, Diego Ventura, Borja Jiménez, and José María Manzanares are also scheduled to perform. Regional channels will broadcast novilladas in Alamillo (Castilla La Mancha) and Villanueva del Fresno (Extremadura).
Following this event, the season continues with the Semana Grande de Bilbao (August 22–30), Feria de San Atilano in Tarazona (August 28–30), Feria del Arroz in Calasparra (September 3–8), and Feria de la Virgen de la Vega in Salamanca (September 11–14).
