Colombian singer Pipe Bueno has publicly detailed a personal crisis involving alcohol and drug addiction that nearly ended his relationship with influencer Luisa Fernanda W. In an interview on the podcast Los hombres sí lloran, hosted by actor Juan Pablo Raba, Bueno said the addiction began after his move to Mexico, where his music career faltered. "Si no estaba borracho, estaba drogado" (If I wasn't drunk, I was high), he admitted, explaining that he used substances to escape his emotions . The situation escalated until Luisa Fernanda W left their home with their children, Máximo and Domenic, and checked into a hotel . Bueno said that moment made him realize the severity of his problem, and he asked for a last chance, vowing to take responsibility for himself . He has since sought professional help and reports being sober for several months .
Fredy Guarín, a former footballer who has spoken openly about his own struggles with alcohol, offered support, writing: "Los entiendo, los abrazo, y sí es posible la recuperación" (I understand you, I hug you, and recovery is possible) . Meanwhile, Luisa Fernanda W responded to critics who questioned her decision to stay with Bueno. She emphasized that she did not know about his substance use while it was happening and that "cada persona tiene sus propios límites" (each person has their own limits), adding that she is sharing her story, not prescribing a formula for others .
Bueno's recovery includes a new album, Aquí estoy yo, which he says reflects his personal reconstruction . Luisa Fernanda W has hinted that more details will be shared in an upcoming interview .
