The Fundación Hermanos Rojas (SOLN), a nonprofit led by Roberto Rojas, announced its first charity gala in New York City to raise funds for social programs benefiting underserved communities in the Dominican Republic . The event is scheduled for Saturday the 28th at 6:00 p.m. at The Eastwood Manor, 3471 Eastchester Road, in The Bronx, featuring a buffet and live music .
Proceeds will support university scholarships for low-income students, construction and renovation of housing and sports facilities (baseball, softball, basketball), and shipments of wheelchairs, walkers, school supplies, crutches, canes, diapers, and hospital beds . The foundation also runs medical outreach and annual Christmas and Three Kings Day activities in marginalized neighborhoods of the National District and several provinces .
With over 20 years of service, SOLN has assisted thousands of families in the Dominican Republic . Its motto is "Por el bienestar social, hoy y siempre" (For social welfare, today and always) . Rojas emphasized the organization's focus on community development, vulnerable children, elderly care, and disaster relief, funded by its own resources and volunteers . The foundation has offices in the Dominican Republic (Santo Domingo, Fantino, Mao, Elías Piña, La Romana, San Francisco de Macorís) and in New York City's Upper Manhattan .
