INTEC's Apolo 27 GT wins Best Team Effort at Formula Student Spain

The Apolo 27 GT team from the Instituto Tecnológico de Santo Domingo (INTEC) made history as the first Dominican Republic representative at Formula Student Spain, winning the Best Team Effort award. The competition, held August 1–7 at the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya in Montmeló, drew about 1,700 students and 70 teams from 21 countries, with Apolo 27 GT being the only American continent entry Source: Hoy, El Día.

The achievement

The team received the Best Team Effort award and special judge recognition for engineering design and manufacturing. Formula Student Spain is more than a speed race; it challenges students to develop a competition vehicle comprehensively.
