Marvel Studios has officially revealed the cast for its upcoming X-Men reboot, headlined by Adam Driver as the villain Mister Sinister and Inde Navarrette as Rogue. The announcement came at Disney's D23 fan event in Anaheim, California, on Friday, with Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige introducing the actors on stage. The film, directed by Jake Schreier, is slated for release in May 2028.
Driver told the crowd of 12,000 that he and Feige had been talking "for years" about joining the MCU, and that they "finally found the perfect film." Feige noted that the cast members had just met backstage for the first time.
The X-Men film is scheduled for May 5, 2028, though The Verge suggests the date could shift. Feige hinted at more casting news to come. The reboot follows Disney's 2019 acquisition of Fox, which brought the mutants into the MCU.
