IPN economics school ends two-month strike after majority vote

The vote

A survey of 1,184 students showed:

• 698 (58.95%) voted to end the strike and return the facilities.
• 486 (41.05%) voted to continue the suspension.

Demands and context

The strike was driven by calls for the resignation of IPN director Arturo Reyes Sandoval, whom students accused of corruption and mismanagement.
