Emotional response

García, visibly moved, thanked the audience and highlighted her deep familial ties to Baní, the homeland of her mother. "Realmente no tengo palabras para describir la emoción que sentí. Fue un acto sencillo, auténtico, lleno de amor, cariño y sinceridad," she said. She also recalled that Felipe Prandy, one of the organizers, had recognized her early career in a 1969 tribute, making the moment particularly meaningful.
