Profeco issues guide to protect family budget during summer vacations

The guide stresses creating a detailed list of travel characteristics, activities, and spending limits for each item. It recommends setting aside a percentage for unforeseen expenses and comparing prices, packages, and promotions before making reservations.

Travel tips by mode

For beach destinations, Profeco suggests considering lower-cost alternatives to all-inclusive packages and traveling during off-peak demand.
