UNAM publishes 2026 admission results for 50,113 new students

The Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México (UNAM) announced that on Friday, July 17, it will release the results of the 2026 Licenciatura Selection Contest, welcoming 50,113 new students — an increase of 1,454 spots from the previous cycle. For the first time, the admission test was conducted entirely online, allowing participation from across Mexico and abroad. How to consult results

Results are available from July 17 on the official website of the Dirección General de Administración Escolar (DGAE) at www.dgae.unam.mx. Applicants must log in with the email and password registered during the process. Selected students must complete an online English diagnostic exam and a statistical data sheet between July 17 and 20, followed by in-person document delivery from July 27 to 31.
