Rolando Guzmán named new director of Dominican newspaper Hoy

Who is Rolando Guzmán?

Guzmán holds a PhD in Economics and a master's in Pure Mathematics from the University of Illinois, plus a master's in Quantitative Economics from Brazilian institutions. He served as INTEC rector and worked as a consultant for the World Bank, the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB), and the UN Economic Commission for Latin America and the Caribbean (ECLAC). Legacy of Bienvenido Álvarez Vega

Álvarez Vega, a journalist with more than 50 years of experience, received the Premio Nacional de Periodismo 2023 (National Journalism Prize) and a Medal of Merit from the Dominican College of Journalists.
