Ferrovial invests €1 billion in Alcobendas data center campus

The Comunidad de Madrid announced that Ferrovial will invest €1,000 million to build a data center campus in Alcobendas with a capacity exceeding 100 MW. The project, declared a Project of Special Interest by the regional Aceleradora de Inversiones, has already obtained favorable reports on urban planning, digital strategy, and energy transition, along with a land movement license to begin construction. Regional context

The Aceleradora de Inversiones, created in 2023, has so far accelerated 17 strategic projects totaling nearly €9 billion and over 5,000 jobs.
