Fundación Mutua Madrileña funds 21 medical research projects with 2.3 million euros

The Fundación Mutua Madrileña has announced the allocation of 2.3 million euros to 21 medical research projects across 25 centers in 12 Spanish autonomous communities. Collaborative projects

Two collaborative studies—involving teams from at least four autonomous communities each—stand out. The first, RISCATEA, led by Montse Fernández Prieto at the IDIS in Santiago de Compostela, will analyze 800 participants aged 12–30 to identify clinical, psychosocial, and genetic factors linked to suicide risk in people with autism spectrum disorder (ASD).
