Colombia president-elect suspends transition after Petro refuses to concede

President-elect Abelardo de la Espriella ordered the immediate suspension of the transition process with the outgoing government of Gustavo Petro, accusing Petro of attempting a “golpe de Estado” by refusing to recognize the election results.
