The Dominican College of Surgeons (CDC) has elected Dr. Luis Restituyo as its new president during its 43rd Congress of Surgery in Punta Cana. Restituyo, a bariatric surgeon, led the Slate 1 that received 176 votes, defeating Slate 2 which obtained 107 votes. Source: Hoy.
